Bomber Pelham Ultra Comfy lock up bit - Brand new! 55mm and 75mm shank available.

The Pelham has attachments for two reins, one near the mouthpiece and one at the end of the shank. Some riders, may prefer to use rein connectors. The Pelham 55mm shank will exert moderate poll pressure and leverage on the mouthpiece and curb. Supplied with stainless steel curb chain and hooks.

The Ultra Comfy Lock Up has been designed to suit very sensitive mouthed horses. It has no nut cracker effect and is great for horses who do not like too much tongue pressure.  The shape is such that it follows the contour of the horse's tongue. The centre joint has been double locked to ensure that the angle over the tongue remains correct, even when the reins are taken up, but it retains the individual lateral aids. The Ultra comfy has a generous curve, to follow the shape of the horse's mouth. We have found that the need for softer and softer bits has been growing, as breeding has been producing finer and more sensitive horses
